Project Manager Sr Lead – Insurance Risk Platform

What you will do

• Lead complex technology projects and programs from initiation through delivery, defining scope, plans, schedules, budgets, resources, success measures, and deliverables.
• Coordinate internal teams, clients, vendors, and partners across multiple workstreams, managing dependencies, issues, and competing priorities.
• Own project governance, financial management, risk and issue management, change control, resource planning, and progress reporting.
• Build relationships with senior business, technical, and client stakeholders; lead discussions and presentations to support decisions and resolve delivery challenges.
• Improve project management processes, standards, and controls; guide project team members and share delivery best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, business administration, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant work experience.
• At least 10 years of experience leading complex technology projects or programs.
• Strong knowledge of project management standards, governance, processes, and delivery methods, including Waterfall, Agile, and other project life cycles.
• Experience managing project scope, budgets, schedules, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies while leading cross-functional teams through complex delivery challenges.
• Strong stakeholder leadership, communication, negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, conflict management, and decision-making skills.
• Experience presenting to and influencing senior business, technical, and client stakeholders.
• Advanced experience using project planning, reporting, and project management tools.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or a comparable project management credential, with knowledge of PMBOK practices.
• Experience delivering technology projects in financial services, fintech, or other complex, regulated environments.
• Knowledge of software delivery and quality practices, including experience supporting system integration, product implementation, or consulting engagements.
