Epic Non-Clinical Analyst IV (Epic)

Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States; on-site support is required during go-lives and system upgrades.

What you will do

• Configure, build, maintain, enhance, and support Epic non-clinical applications, including Scheduling, Registration, Charges, and Health Information Management.
• Implement patient-access configuration changes and builds while maintaining industry and client standards, build quality, and delivery timelines.
• Translate user requirements into functional and technical design specifications and review them with clients.
• Lead small- to medium-complexity Epic upgrades and workflow enhancements through design, build, and testing.
• Analyze workflows, data collection, reports, and technical issues; debug and resolve defects.
• Own projects and systems from inception to delivery, mentor team members, support governance and data quality, and influence technology frameworks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems, or a related major, or 4 years of IT experience in a technical role.
• Epic non-clinical certifications in 2 modules.
• 4–7 years of experience with implementations for large organizations.
• 4–7 years of experience in change management processes supporting successful IT projects.
• 5 years of direct experience developing, implementing, and supporting healthcare information systems and clinical application systems.
• Direct client healthcare domain knowledge, including patient registration, scheduling, claims, and charge review.
• Ability to lead multiple projects from inception to delivery and translate end-user requirements into IT requirements using industry or domain knowledge.

Nice to have

• Experience in a complex setting such as a pediatric, tertiary, or quaternary health system.
