ServiceNow Developer (CONTRACT ROLE)

Location: hirify.global Place, 181 Bay Street, Toronto, Ontario, Canada; onsite contract role from November 2026 to June 2027.

Annual base salary: CAD 115,000–125,000; non-exempt, paid bi-weekly.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and other modules.
• Customize and configure applications using business rules, client scripts, UI policies, flows, and workflows.
• Develop and maintain integrations with external systems using REST, SOAP, and MID Servers.
• Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, and technical documentation with cross-functional teams.
• Optimize platform performance, stability, and scalability while supporting releases and change management.
• Troubleshoot and support incidents and enhancements, and recommend improvements based on new ServiceNow features and best practices.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and modules including ITSM, CMDB, Catalog, and Workflow.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow proprietary scripting environments.
• Proficiency with Integration Hub, REST/SOAP web services, and data transformation.
• Experience with ServiceNow Studio, Flow Designer, and Scoped Applications.
• Knowledge of ITSM, CSDM, CMDB best practices, and Discovery.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills; ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant experience including IT certifications.
• ITIL v3 Foundations or higher.

Nice to have

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or Implementation Specialist certification.
• Exposure to Now Experience UI Framework or Service Portal development.
• Experience supporting multi-sector or multi-instance environments.
