Trainee Ingeniería Manufactura Celda 2 (Manufacturing)

Location: Guanajuato, Mexico; onsite at the Guanajuato manufacturing facility.

What you will do

• Analyze high-power transformer manufacturing processes and identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
• Support factory improvement projects and collaborate with manufacturing and cross-functional teams.
• Explore and propose poka-yoke solutions to prevent quality-related issues.
• Test and validate proposed process changes under the guidance of experienced team members.
• Document processes and improvements, support training and release activities, and present results.
• Keep drawings and plant layouts updated and research manufacturing best practices and industry trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• No previous professional experience is required; academic projects related to manufacturing or process improvement are preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD.
• Basic knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.
• Intermediate to advanced English communication skills.
• Analytical skills and the ability to work with data.
• Teamwork, effective communication, proactivity, willingness to learn, results orientation, critical thinking, problem-solving, adaptability, and flexibility.
