Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: Remote from Serbia or Bosnia and Herzegovina; locations include Belgrade and Sarajevo.

What you will do

• Set up and enhance continuous integration and continuous deployment processes.
• Configure products, functional areas, integration interfaces, integration maps, web services, and transport protocols.
• Troubleshoot and remediate infrastructure, systems, integration, and operational issues.
• Ensure 24x7x365 availability of messaging, voice, and email gateways and platforms, including emergency assessment and solution recommendations.
• Write and deploy scripts across environments to automate daily operations.
• Maintain server configurations, monitoring jobs, infrastructure documentation, and cloud environments while participating in on-call rotations and collaborating with offshore teams and partners.

Requirements

• 5+ years of recent hands-on technical experience in a Professional Services or Enterprise DevOps role.
• Strong proficiency across infrastructure as code with CloudFormation or Terraform, container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes, configuration management with Ansible, Python, Elastic Stack, CI/CD with DroneCI and Argo CD, and network protocols and standards.
• Ability to spend substantial time interfacing with offshore teams daily.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or another IT-related field.
• Fluent English with excellent written, editing, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong ownership, critical thinking, and ability to drive DevOps mindset initiatives across teams for agile releases.
• Analytical thinking and accountability for decisions and results.
