What you will do
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on power delivery projects, including substation, transmission, and distribution design.
- Create technical design products such as single line diagrams, equipment general arrangements, and bill of materials.
- Perform power system studies including load flow, short circuit, grounding, and arc flash analysis.
- Develop computer-based models for power system simulation.
- Prepare project documentation, cost estimates, and budget reports.
- Research and apply applicable electrical codes and standards to project designs.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced design environment.
