Electrical Engineering Intern - Summer 2027

Location: Houston, TX, United States; on-site. Limited travel is required, including work at project locations as needed.

What you will do

• Learn and apply basic principles of electrical design engineering.
• Support electrical system design work on meaningful AEC projects.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers and technical specialists.
• Gain exposure to different project types, markets, and building environments.
• Follow the lifecycle of construction projects from design through construction.
• Develop proficiency with industry-standard engineering software.

Requirements

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Architectural, or a related Engineering field.
• Interest in the AEC industry, electrical system design, and practical engineering work.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Readiness to adapt to changing priorities and perform duties on-site or at project locations.
• Some college or better in Engineering or a related field.

Nice to have

• Familiarity or proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit.
• Understanding of engineering analysis tools.
