Enterprise Security Engineer (Azure/GCP)

Salary: $83,000–$95,000 per year, plus annual bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Design and maintain secure enterprise network architectures, segmentation, firewall policies, access controls, security baselines, hardening standards, and configuration management policies.
• Lead security architecture reviews and advise engineering teams on secure design principles.
• Design and maintain security controls across Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and AWS, including network security groups, service accounts, workload identity federation, logging, encryption, and cloud-native security tooling.
• Secure connectivity between on-premises environments and cloud-hosted applications and infrastructure, including GKE, Cloud SQL, and cloud-native deployments.
• Configure and maintain Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike Falcon, SIEM/XDR/EDR, detection rules, alert logic, automated workflows, PKI, and security certificates.
• Assess and remediate infrastructure vulnerabilities and misconfigurations while developing secure data handling, encryption, and key management practices; use AI-enabled tools responsibly where appropriate.

Requirements

• Ability to work effectively across infrastructure, engineering, cloud, and other cross-functional teams with strong communication skills.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise security engineering, infrastructure security, or systems engineering with strong security responsibilities.
• Experience designing and securing corporate back-office and hybrid cloud environments.
• Expertise with Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and cloud-native security features.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike Falcon, or other SIEM/XDR/EDR technologies, including Kusto Query Language and Falcon Query Language.
• Strong understanding of identity and access management, Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, IAM policies, SSO, MFA, and PAM solutions.
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools and automation scripting using PowerShell or Python.
• Strong knowledge of networking, encryption, certificates, and security protocols.
