Principal Product Manager (AI)

Location: Remote in Canada or the United States

Salary in the United States: $280,000–$300,000 annually plus equity

Build developer tools and infrastructure for creating, sharing, and running applications, including sandboxed environments, verified images, and secure infrastructure for AI-assisted software development.

What you will do

• Own the sandbox product area, long-term vision, roadmap, revenue, and results from concept through delivery and operation.
• Engage with developers, customers, and partners to identify pain points and expand the open ecosystem offering.
• Define product direction, prioritize features and scope, and build products that are easy to adopt and use.
• Lead iterative development by hypothesizing, measuring impact, learning from releases, and shaping future roadmap plans.
• Collaborate with design, research, engineering, and other cross-functional teams to define OKRs, report progress, and deliver product initiatives.
• Drive the long-term direction of the product, including contributions to annual recurring revenue.

Requirements

• Experience creating and deploying AI agents at scale and handling the associated challenges and pain points.
• Experience working with developers and technical knowledge of developer tools, including understanding the software development lifecycle.
• Deep understanding of how AI agents are safely orchestrated and deployed with sandboxes.
• Experience working with tools in the software supply chain and/or software security.
• Experience building B2B or SaaS products, or a background in public cloud.
• Comfort interacting with a command-line interface.
• Ability to break complex technical problems into small, releasable, user-valued features.
• Ability to explain complex ideas simply and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders through written, verbal, and visual communication.
• Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data to inform decisions, collaborate with fast-moving distributed cross-functional teams, and operate as both a strategist and a doer.
• Experience running products at different maturity stages, from legacy to greenfield.
• Deep empathy for developers, strong user research orientation, comfort with ambiguity, attention to detail, and a bias for action.
