Staff Product Manager (Enterprise Deployment Solutions)

Location: Remote in Canada; candidates are considered in Canada EST.

Salary: CAD $211,450–$253,740 base compensation, plus RSUs.

What you will do

• Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Grafana BYOC and Grafana Federal Cloud.
• Use product data and market research to balance customer value, engineering cost, and technical constraints.
• Own product positioning, messaging, differentiation, competitive analysis, launches, enablement, and demand programs with Product Marketing.
• Partner with Engineering and Technical Program Management on deployment-environment buildouts and customer timelines.
• Work with customers, prospects, field teams, partners, resellers, analysts, Security, Compliance, and Legal.
• Use AI tools for research, product-signal analysis, and positioning.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience on a technical B2B product, or a technical background in software engineering, solutions architecture, SRE, or technical program management combined with demonstrated product ownership.
• Hands-on experience with a non-standard SaaS deployment model such as self-managed, air-gapped, sovereign, BYOC, single-tenant, or FedRAMP/government cloud.
• Firsthand understanding of how non-standard deployment models affect the product, operations, and economics.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, platform software, or developer tools.
• Clear product and go-to-market judgment, including shaping product direction, positioning, and sales approach.
• Interest in working with US public-sector customers and learning their needs and buying cycles; deep compliance expertise is not required.
• Experience leading across multiple teams without direct authority and excellent written and verbal communication in a remote, globally distributed organization.

Nice to have

• Experience selling to or building for US federal, state, or local government customers or other highly regulated industries.
• Familiarity with FedRAMP, StateRAMP/GovRAMP, BSI C5, SecNumCloud, AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, AWS European Sovereign Cloud, or GCP Sovereign Cloud.
• Experience with pricing and packaging across deployment models.
• Experience with observability, monitoring, or other data-intensive infrastructure products.
• Experience working with resellers, systems integrators, or cloud marketplace partners.
• Familiarity with open source software or commercial open source companies.
