Senior Project Manager, IT (PMP)

Location: Hybrid; on-site travel is required for project work as needed.

Annual base salary: $118,560.00–$156,000.00 USD.

What you will do

• Lead multiple concurrent healthcare IT projects from initiation through implementation and stabilization.
• Develop and manage project plans covering scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and communications.
• Partner with clinical, business, technical, and executive stakeholders to define objectives, metrics, and deliverables.
• Monitor risks, issues, dependencies, scope changes, and contingency plans to maintain delivery momentum.
• Oversee third-party vendors, contracts, external teams, and service performance.
• Communicate project status through dashboards, reports, and presentations while mentoring project team members and improving PMO practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive project management experience, including 8+ years in healthcare IT or a comparable regulated environment.
• PMP certification is required.
• Experience delivering large-scale, cross-functional initiatives involving EHR systems, clinical applications, or enterprise infrastructure.
• Knowledge of the full project management lifecycle and practical experience with Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid methodologies.
• Strong technical understanding of cybersecurity, networking, infrastructure, end-user computing, telecommunications, data analytics, vendor management, and project tools such as Smartsheet or Microsoft Project.
