2027 Investment Analyst, Secondary (Private Equity)

Location: Boston, United States; hybrid work arrangement with 18 remote workdays per quarter subject to manager approval.

Base salary: $110,000–$120,000 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus and potential long-term reward programs.

What you will do

• Evaluate private equity secondary investment opportunities, including limited partnership interests and GP-led Continuation Fund transactions.
• Conduct detailed due diligence on companies, research industries and competitors, and interview general partners and company management.
• Prepare financial models for companies, funds, and transactions.
• Author investment committee materials and contribute as a member of deal teams throughout the investment process.
• Monitor existing transactions through general partner update calls, quarterly reporting, and industry news.
• Gain exposure to companies across Technology, Healthcare, Financial Institutions, Industrials, and other industries.

Requirements

• Graduation in December 2026 or Spring 2027 with 0–2 years of work experience.
• Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and target dates simultaneously.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.

Nice to have

• Finance coursework or related experience in Investment Banking or Private Equity.
• Internship or work experience in Investments, Finance, or related fields.
