Fellow (Fintech)

Location: On-site in Berlin, Germany; candidates must be based in Berlin or willing to relocate for an in-person fellowship.

Salary: €3K per month.

hirify.global is building a regulated national bank and Marble, a proprietary core banking system, to provide dollar clearing infrastructure for international fintechs and non-US banks.

What you will do

• Work on special projects across engineering, product, and the wider company.
• Own projects end to end: understand the problem, choose an approach, build the solution, and put it into use.
• Build solutions such as background coding agents, frontend component libraries, or operational tools using agents.
• Work closely with the relevant team, gather user context, define success criteria, and incorporate direct feedback.
• Drive projects through technical decisions, testing, rollout, adoption, and iteration.
• Take on larger or more difficult projects as independence and judgment grow.

Requirements

• Available for 3–6 months.
• Based in Berlin or willing to relocate for an in-person fellowship.
• Able to build working software, demonstrated through personal projects, open-source contributions, previous work, or another demonstrable project.
• Able to explain decisions, ask for help when needed, and follow through.
• Evidence of a steep learning trajectory, drive, curiosity, ownership, and low ego.
• Comfortable working with unfamiliar tools, systems, and domains.
• Willing to handle testing, documentation, rollout, and iteration to make projects useful.

Hiring process

• The fellowship begins with joining a team, understanding a problem, and shipping an initial project version in the first month.
• Projects progress through adoption, feedback, technical decisions, and improvement during months 2–3.
• During months 4–6, fellows may take on a larger project or a harder problem with less guidance.
