Engineer (AI)

Location: Munich, Germany; in-office four days a week

hirify.global builds an AI-powered procurement intelligence platform connecting engineering data with the physical world of manufacturing. The product is used by more than 300 industrial companies and is backed by Sequoia and Index.

What you will do

• Identify valuable problems in procurement and manufacturing and own solutions from discovery through production.
• Talk to customers, test risky assumptions early, and turn AI capabilities into product features.
• Build and ship across the stack using Python or TypeScript-based technologies.
• Develop software that connects engineering, supplier, material, and procurement data.
• Measure success through customer and business outcomes, including revenue impact.

Requirements

• Production software experience in a modern product team.
• Deep experience with modern Python, FastAPI, async programming, and SQL, or with TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Ability and willingness to work across the stack.
• Experience building AI features into products, or demonstrated commitment to learning how to do so.
• Daily experience with AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude, Codex, or agents.
• Availability to work in the Munich office at least four days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with B2B SaaS or data products.
• Personal projects, side projects, or independently initiated product features.
