US Regional Materials Sourcing Commodity Manager (Semiconductor)

Salary: $50,400.00–$88,200.00 annually; exact salary depends on qualifications, experience, and location.

What you will do

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned commodity categories to support supply continuity, technology roadmaps, cost competitiveness, and business objectives.
• Serve as the primary regional sourcing contact for assigned commodities across ongoing manufacturing operations and new product qualifications.
• Lead supplier relationship management, supplier development, performance improvement, commercial negotiations, contract updates, and purchase agreement management.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through continuity planning, capacity management, alternate source development, supplier risk monitoring, and financial health assessments.
• Partner with operations, engineering, planning, quality, finance, and global sourcing teams on cost savings, productivity, risk reduction, manufacturing ramps, capacity expansions, and technology transitions.
• Use sourcing tools, systems, analytics, and reporting to support supplier onboarding, process optimization, procurement governance, and data-driven performance management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Global Supply Management, Business, Political Science, Geography, or a relevant field.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• English fluency in written and verbal communication.
• Dynamic, resourceful self-starter with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Experience building strong internal and external relationships.
• Demonstrated experience with change management projects producing measurable, positive business outcomes.
• Strong ability to use Microsoft Office, Oracle, and business-specific software systems.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Global Supply Management, Business, or a relevant field.
• Experience negotiating and sourcing for high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Experience in the semiconductor or electronics industry.
• In-depth knowledge of semiconductor materials or capital equipment.
