Research Engineer or Business Analyst (AI)

Location: On-site in Allentown, PA, United States. General working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; occasional extended hours and travel of 10% or less may be required.

What you will do

• Research, analyze, and document regulations, emerging technologies, industry trends, and technical or analytical topics.
• Document and manage operational metrics and KPIs, including data sources, metric ownership, reporting requirements, and standardized templates.
• Support the development of reporting dashboards and tracking mechanisms while facilitating stakeholder alignment on metric definitions and usage.
• Validate and analyze data to confirm metric integrity, evaluate insights, and support recommendations for improved operational performance and DSO strategy outcomes.
• Provide light project management services and collaborate with cross-functional teams on client solutions.
• Perform quality assurance on deliverables to ensure compliance with standards and expectations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Public Policy, or a related field.
• Strong passion for technology and a proven track record of successful work with technology.
• Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Anthropic’s Claude, or OpenAI ChatGPT to support workflow automation, Python coding, and code development in other programming languages.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, willingness to learn, and ability to contribute in a team environment.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.

• Previous consulting experience or experience with project management software.
