Strategic Finance Senior Manager (Healthcare)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, California; office attendance Monday through Thursday, with Fridays designated as work-from-anywhere days.

Salary: SF Bay Area estimated base salary of $120,000–$160,000, plus equity.

What you will do

• Own and develop financial models and internal and external reporting processes.
• Design dashboards, build financial models, and conduct complex data analyses for actionable leadership insights.
• Evaluate unit economics, margin drivers, patient growth, and strategic partnerships using business judgment and financial insights.
• Track, model, and analyze patient engagement, acquisition costs, and provider network capacity.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in corporate FP&A, investment banking, consulting, corporate strategy, and/or analytics.
• Prior experience in high-growth VC- or PE-backed startups.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with advanced spreadsheet proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including complex logic and advanced functions.
• Ability to clearly communicate financial insights to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Comfort working in a fast-changing environment and managing multiple priorities.
• Working knowledge of SQL and BI tools such as Looker and BigQuery.

Nice to have

• Healthcare industry experience and knowledge of healthcare business and delivery models.
• Experience with Sage Intacct or comparable general ledger software.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and BI tools such as Looker and BigQuery.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization with cross-functional teams.
• Prior experience in a high-growth or startup setting.
