Software Engineer II (M/F/D) (Fiber Monitoring)

Location: Munich, Germany; flexible working hours and the possibility of mobile working.

hirify.global develops hirify.global Infrastructure Monitoring products, including fiber monitoring devices and software that help network infrastructure operators quickly isolate faults and take targeted action.

What you will do

• Design, analyze requirements for, develop, implement, test, debug, and maintain software solutions for hirify.global Infrastructure Monitoring products.
• Develop and maintain AIM software products, including device and network layer software.
• Participate in software architecture and design discussions.
• Design proof-of-concepts for forward-looking technologies.
• Present new ideas to internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide post-release support for software products.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related area.
• At least 2–3 years of experience working in a fast-paced, deep-tech company.
• Familiarity with agile software development strategies and project management tools.
• Strong skills in algorithms, data structures, databases, and microservices architecture.
• Innovative, highly motivated, and able to work as a team player.
• Fluent oral and written English.

• Familiarity with Rust.
