Senior Software Engineer (C++)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain core cross-platform application features in C++.
• Contribute to firmware-level, desktop, and mobile platform development for integrated Fender products.
• Own key application components and lead the design and implementation of complex features.
• Participate in architectural decisions, code reviews, and requirements refinement.
• Mentor fellow developers and improve development workflows, tools, and practices.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar education.
• Extensive professional experience designing, developing, and maintaining complex, production-grade software.
• Strong object-oriented C++ programming skills.
• Familiarity with a cross-platform software framework such as Qt or JUCE.
• Proficiency with Visual Studio, XCode, Git, and Jira or Confluence.
• Fluent German and English language skills.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to have

• Background in music production and audio technology.
• Knowledge of music production software and software instruments.
