Director of Field Engineering, Public Sector UK&I (AI)

Location: London, United Kingdom (Hybrid); responsibility for UK&I Public Sector.

Salary: £125,000–£150,000 per year + 30% bonus + shares.

What you will do

• Own pre-sales Solution Engineering and post-sales Technical Account Management for UK&I Public Sector.
• Lead the most complex and high-value accounts as a player-manager.
• Build and develop the UK&I Public Sector field engineering team.
• Own Net New ARR and NRR targets across central government, law enforcement, intelligence, and regulatory bodies.
• Act as the senior technical counterpart to programme directors, CDOs, CTOs, and government evaluation panels.
• Report to the VP Field Engineering, EMEA.

Requirements

• Experience leading a pre-sales or post-sales technical team against commercial targets.
• Substantive UK government technology background, either vendor-side or within government.
• Strong working knowledge of G-Cloud and CCS frameworks, sovereign cloud, and security classifications.
• Technical credibility with government CTOs and evaluation panels on data, architecture, and security.

• Background in data analytics, entity resolution, or intelligence-led platforms.
