Global Banking & Markets Operations, Change Management, New York - Vice President

What you will do

• Lead complex and strategic cross-divisional initiatives with product, design, engineering, operations, and front-to-back business teams.
• Connect project benefits and delivery plans to Global Banking & Markets and firm-wide strategy.
• Identify, report, escalate, and remediate project risks while providing transparency on issues, timelines, budgets, and progress.
• Run governance forums with senior leadership and remove program-level impediments through stakeholder engagement and sponsorship.
• Partner with product owners to shape strategic visions, roadmaps, and demand backlogs while balancing competing priorities.
• Define quality assurance and testing approaches, coach teams on testing best practices, and develop post-testing migration strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 7–12 years of relevant experience in business analysis, project management, or program management, including finance industry experience.
• Strong project management skills across the full front-to-back project lifecycle, including scoping, planning, deliverables, risk and issue management, status reporting, and delivery execution.
• Proven delivery of results in cross-functional teams on time and within budget.
• Excellent written, oral, communication, and interpersonal skills, with confidence interacting with senior stakeholders.
• Extensive leadership experience in empowerment, situational awareness, increasing transparency, and conflict resolution on large-scale programs.
• Ability to engage and influence stakeholders outside direct reporting lines.
• Strategic thinking, cross-functional issue identification, innovative solution development, and communication of impacts across processes, systems, teams, costs, risk, and service.
• Hands-on approach and willingness to work with and coach teams toward efficient and effective performance.

Nice to have

• Experience in technology strategy, client service, business functions, or management consulting.
• Core knowledge of Global Banking & Markets.
• Understanding of financial services and operations processes and procedures.
• Knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar applications.
• Knowledge of OKR frameworks and roadmaps.
• Working knowledge of using AI to improve efficiency within financial services.
