Collections Accounts Manager (Part-Time Temporary)

Location: Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada; part-time, temporary, onsite role.

Salary: $27.63–$34.54 per hour.

What you will do

• Collect outstanding balances across hirify.global platforms, focusing primarily on commercial and some consumer accounts.
• Prioritize team account collections and negotiate payment timelines, partial payments, and default fees with customers.
• Resolve early defaults and collapses, present solutions to management, and reduce the collapse rate.
• Identify process gaps, recommend improvements, and address operational issues.
• Track and report work-queue results using Excel and qualitative feedback.
• Communicate with customers to understand their situations and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• 5 years of collections experience in auto loans, commercial collections, and financial-institution portfolios.
• Self-motivation, initiative, and the ability to identify process gaps or improvement opportunities.
• Strong communication, listening, questioning, and probing skills.
• Excellent phone etiquette and strong written email communication.
• Bilingual French-speaking ability.
• Legal entitlement to work in Canada.
