Vice President, ABF Fund Finance

Location: Los Angeles, California; flexible work arrangement

Base salary: $160,000–$225,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus incentives

hirify.global is a credit manager within Brookfield’s $416B credit platform, investing across credit, equity, and real estate.

What you will do

• Manage cash, liquidity planning, NAV oversight, subscription-line activity, borrowing base reporting, and fund account reconciliations.
• Maintain books and records for public and private pooled investment funds, limited partnerships, and separate accounts.
• Prepare and review management fees, waterfall calculations, partner income and expense allocations, distributions, drawdowns, accruals, and performance metrics.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and oversee quarterly reporting deliverables to corporate finance.
• Ensure compliance with financial reporting controls and document evidence required under Sarbanes-Oxley.
• Coordinate with tax, operations, auditors, custodians, prime brokers, fund administrators, lenders, clients, and portfolio teams.

Requirements

• 13–15 years of relevant accounting or audit experience within Big Four public accounting or a combination of public accounting and investment management experience.
• Strong knowledge of reconciliation and account analysis.
• Excellent understanding of accounting and the ability to apply relevant investment company accounting rules.
• Solid analytical skills and ability to understand and resolve complex problems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams and external service providers.
• Ability to manage shifting priorities, competing demands, and deadlines with strong organization, attention to detail, and limited supervision.

Nice to have

• Experience with Geneva and/or Geneva World Investor accounting systems.
• CPA or equivalent designation.
