Material Planning Manager (AI Robotics)

Salary: $120,000–$200,000 per year

What you will do

• Own module-level demand planning and translate build plans into executable material requirements.
• Maintain demand files, analyze manufacturing yields and consumption trends, and develop part allocation plans for constrained supply.
• Optimize inventory levels, turns, and consumption rates while managing engineering changes and part-request approvals.
• Own daily clear-to-build reporting and resolve material constraints affecting production schedules.
• Oversee purchase order releases, ETA tracking, inventory reconciliation, and tactical purchasing for critical components.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, NPI, Global Supply Management, Logistics, and Warehousing on material readiness and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in materials planning, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing or complex hardware environments.
• Strong proficiency with ERP/MRP systems; SAP or Oracle experience is preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and demand modeling.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
