Global Quality Lead (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Remote in the US or Europe; regular travel to sites and factories across Europe and North America is required.

Salary: £220K–£250K, €261K–€297K, or $293K–$333K, plus equity and bonus.

What you will do

• Own the quality strategy, standards, and quality management system across projects in Europe and North America.
• Build and lead the global quality function, providing functional leadership to quality resources embedded in project teams.
• Set inspection and test plan standards for civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and controls packages.
• Build vendor quality and factory surveillance programmes, including supplier qualification and factory acceptance testing for critical equipment.
• Own non-conformance management, drive root-cause resolution, and embed right-first-time practices and lessons learned across sites.
• Set commissioning quality standards from level 1 through level 5, run audits and assurance reviews, and report quality performance to leadership.

Requirements

• Quality leadership experience on data centre or mission-critical construction programmes; data centre experience is essential.
• Experience running quality at programme or portfolio level across multiple concurrent projects and regions.
• Experience building or running a quality management system from scratch, ideally aligned to ISO 9001.
• Deep familiarity with commissioning practices on complex, MEP-heavy facilities.
• Strong vendor quality and factory acceptance experience for critical equipment such as switchgear, UPS, generators, chillers, and CDUs.
• Structured root-cause problem-solving skills and clear, data-led reporting.
• Credibility to hold projects, contractors, and suppliers to standard.
• Willingness to travel regularly to sites and factories across Europe and North America.
