Supply Chain Program Manager

Location: Remote, based in the Lorton, VA area; travel required up to 25% as needed. Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance if required.

Salary: $155,000–$185,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Coordinate supply-chain program activities between the PMO, Supply Chain, Engineering, Production, Logistics, Finance, Quality, and other functional teams.
• Prioritize material deliverables, maintain alignment between program milestones and supply-chain execution plans, and provide readiness updates.
• Coordinate supplier questions, escalations, open issues, documentation, clarifications, and approvals.
• Gather, consolidate, and present material status, risks, lead times, shortages, aging purchase orders, and other supply-chain data.
• Develop dashboards, metrics, reporting tools, and program-ready summaries to support schedule, cost, performance, and decision-making.
• Coordinate inventory health, material readiness, new product introduction readiness, sourcing lists, RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, and bid-package support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or program management.
• Experience with program planning and project governance, stakeholder management and executive communication, inventory management and demand planning, data analysis and reporting, and risk, issue, and opportunity coordination.
• Strong organizational, communication, and adaptive leadership skills.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, supply-chain visibility tools, Microsoft Suite, and project management tools.
• Advanced Excel skills and the ability to design dashboards and reporting mechanisms.
• Ability to travel up to 25% as needed.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance if required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 9 years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or program management.
• Familiarity with SQL.
