Sr Technical Consultant (Insurance Technology)

Location: Remote within the United States; listed job locations are Chicago, Illinois, Atlanta, Georgia, and Dallas, Texas.

Salary: $105,000–$130,000 USD annual base salary.

What you will do

• Define and govern architecture, integration, and cloud delivery standards across the software ecosystem, including technical strategy with Google Cloud Platform partners.
• Serve as the executive technical authority for large, high-stakes enterprise implementations with full autonomy.
• Advise client CIOs, CTOs, and business leaders on aligning technology with digital transformations.
• Partner with Sales leadership on pursuit strategy, scoping frameworks, and value engineering for multi-million-dollar and first-of-their-kind deals.
• Lead cross-functional programs with Professional Services, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success, converting field lessons into repeatable blueprints and product enhancements.
• Resolve complex multi-system integration and architecture escalations and mentor senior consultants and architects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, CIS, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience; equivalent experience includes 8 years of work experience or 6 years with an Associate degree.
• At least 5 years of business or technical solutions implementation experience, including cloud architecture design and evaluation and custom solutions development.
• Cross-functional leadership experience, including defining technical standards and facilitating executive workshops for technical and non-technical audiences.
• At least 2 years of hands-on application architecture experience with clients, developers, and testers, plus at least 3 years of client or project management experience.
• Experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure; REST and SOAP APIs; containers; and SQL, Java, or JavaScript.
• Deep expertise in database and environment architecture.

Nice to have

• Google Cloud Platform Professional Cloud Architect certification.
• Salesforce administration or technical experience; APEX experience is a plus.
• At least 1 year of insurance industry experience.
