Senior UI Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote within Colombia.

What you will do

• Build scalable, highly interactive web applications with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Architect frontend experiences on Headless CMS platforms, including flexible content models and reusable components.
• Use agentic AI workflows for component generation, refactoring, and delivery, and help shape team adoption.
• Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect interfaces with smooth, responsive animation and strong performance.
• Own accessible, standards-compliant, cross-device frontend quality and improve performance targets.
• Collaborate with UX, visual design, QA, and strategy teams; document work, conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, mentor junior engineers, and support post-launch enhancements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building large-scale web products in agile, cross-disciplinary teams.
• Deep expertise in React, Next.js, TypeScript, modern CSS, and CSS preprocessor solutions.
• Hands-on track record using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot in day-to-day UI work, with the ability to assess where they add value.
• Experience delivering WCAG-conformant interfaces and improving Core Web Vitals with tools such as Lighthouse.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Advanced English proficiency at C1+ level.
• If the degree is in Engineering or a related profession, a professional license must be presented; license requirements can be verified through the relevant Colombian professional bodies.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Contentstack or another headless CMS.
• A portfolio demonstrating frontend animation and motion design work.
