Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack)

Location: Hybrid in São Paulo or Belo Horizonte, Brazil

What you will do

• Build user-facing features for the hirify.global platform.
• Improve front-end architecture and optimize application performance for faster, more reliable product experiences.
• Analyze interfaces, components, and user flows to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to design and implement technical projects.
• Optimize code review processes and implement front-end development best practices.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience building and supporting production web applications.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with solid knowledge and experience in React.
• Proficiency writing software used in a production environment.
• Experience working on a platform with multiple services.
• Experience collaborating with team members of varying experience levels to design and implement technical projects.
• Ability to work and problem-solve independently.
• Passion for solving complex technical problems in both new and legacy codebases and for improving existing codebases.
• Highly collaborative, documentation-focused, customer-focused, humble, curious, and able to balance asynchronous communication with virtual meetings.
• Motivation to expand skills and take on difficult challenges.

Nice to have

• Proficiency using Golang and Ruby in a production environment.
• Experience on an engineering enablement or platform team, or contributing to engineering-wide initiatives.
