TL;DR
Intermediate Software Engineer (.NET, Angular) (.NET/Angular): Developing and maintaining software features for a new Point-of-Sale product with an accent on product integration, distributed systems, and code quality. Focus on designing technical solutions, identifying risks, improving CI/CD practices, and collaborating with technical leadership on a globally expanding project.
Location: Remote contractor role for candidates in Latin America

What you will do
- Understand the client’s business domain and participate in planning sessions.
- Develop new features for a Point-of-Sale product and maintain existing functionality.
- Identify and fix bugs, introduce improvements, and contribute to overall product quality.
- Assess technical solutions, identify potential risks, and contribute to work decomposition and estimation.
- Follow the project SDLC, document technical solutions, and improve CI/CD practices.
- Collaborate with the Tech Lead and Principal Architect on design, code reviews, and self-review.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience with .NET.
- Hands-on experience with Angular and strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills.
- Experience with REST API and ASP.NET MVC.
- Good knowledge of relational database concepts, MS SQL, and SQL/T-SQL.
- Expertise in software application architecture and familiarity with common design patterns.
- Experience with distributed systems, availability, and deployment.
- Solid knowledge of OOP/OOD, Open API Specification, and SOLID.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipeline tools and practices.
- Upper-Intermediate or higher English proficiency.
Nice to have
- Experience with the Azure cloud platform and its services.
- Knowledge of Point-of-Sale systems or related domains.
- Experience with SonarQube for measuring and analyzing code quality.
- Experience with Redis.
