Senior Tech Specialist, Cloud Engineering (AWS)

hirify.global is hiring for a contingent Senior Tech Specialist, Cloud Engineering role within Infrastructure Engineering.

What you will do

• Design secure, scalable AWS multi-account environments and advanced networking with VPCs, Transit Gateways, Route53, Direct Connect, VPNs, NACLs, and Security Groups.
• Migrate on-premises systems to AWS and perform updates and upgrades of AWS resources and services.
• Deploy and manage Databricks workspaces across AWS environments, optimize clusters, integrate AWS data stores, and implement Unity Catalog.
• Develop reusable Terraform infrastructure code, manage remote state files, and automate AWS and Databricks deployments.
• Design and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and automated alerts using AWS CloudWatch and Prometheus.
• Troubleshoot complex networking, deployment, data pipeline, infrastructure, and cost-related failures.

Requirements

• Advanced expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Hands-on administration of Databricks workspaces, clusters, and Unity Catalog.
• Expert-level proficiency with Terraform, including secure management of infrastructure state files in remote backends.
• Deep experience building and managing Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong mastery of TCP/IP, DNS, VPC peering, and routing tables.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash.
• Experience designing AWS multi-account architectures, configuring AWS networking, establishing Direct Connect and VPN connectivity, and applying IAM least-privilege practices.
