Sr. AI Platform Engineer

What you will do

• Build, operate, and maintain Python services, REST APIs, automation, and integrations supporting enterprise AI administration, governance, security, privacy, and compliance.
• Design AI-enabled applications and agentic workflows using enterprise model APIs, tool calling, MCP, retrieval-augmented generation, evaluations, guardrails, and human approval patterns.
• Develop governance capabilities for application inventory, risk classification, access reviews, policy compliance, control testing, exception management, approval workflows, and audit evidence.
• Lead production reliability through SLOs, monitoring, alerting, incident response, runbooks, upgrades, migrations, and controlled releases.
• Automate identity and access controls, self-service provisioning, internal APIs, SDKs, infrastructure as code, and workflow integrations.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, Privacy, Legal, Compliance, Internal Audit, and business teams to translate requirements into enforceable controls and measurable evidence.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, IT operations, DevOps, or a related engineering discipline, including 2+ years supporting enterprise-scale SaaS or AI tooling.
• Advanced Python skills for production services and automation, including REST services, asynchronous programming, testing, type checking, structured logging, and secure secrets management.
• Experience designing and operating REST APIs, webhooks, event-driven workflows, OAuth 2.0 or OIDC, authorization controls, retries, idempotency, schema validation, and API versioning.
• Production experience with AI applications or agentic workflows using enterprise model APIs or SDKs such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock, or Azure OpenAI.
• Experience with enterprise identity and access management, including SSO, SAML, OIDC, SCIM, RBAC, least privilege, and audit logging.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, containers, infrastructure as code, SQL, production reliability, Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and secure development practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with Okta or Microsoft Entra ID integrations, MCP servers, AI gateways, LLM proxies, agent frameworks, vector databases, knowledge bases, and RAG evaluation.
• Familiarity with token-based billing, prompt management, model versioning, AI cost controls, enterprise architecture, or systems integration.
• Relevant AWS, Okta, or CCSP certifications.
