Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS/Azure)

Location: Uruguay, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, or Costa Rica; remote or hybrid work options available.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable cloud and infrastructure solutions using AWS or Azure, with support for on-premises environments.
• Develop infrastructure-as-code solutions and manage environment configuration, database backup and restoration, and data masking.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable and secure application and infrastructure deployments.
• Implement tamper-evident audit logging, comprehensive monitoring, and observability to support traceability and production reliability.
• Develop security guardrails with policy engines such as Open Policy Agent or Cedar, and implement IAM controls and role-based access policies.
• Lead infrastructure security hardening and collaborate with engineering and security teams on secure DevOps, compliance, and lifecycle practices.

Requirements

• Full understanding of the software development life cycle and experience overseeing and executing project deliverables.
• Strong consultative problem-solving skills and the ability to align digital solutions with client business goals.
• Ability to lead, mentor, coach, motivate, and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools in daily work, or a strong willingness to learn, experiment with, and promote AI adoption.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with a collaborative approach.
• Commitment to continuous learning, flexibility, intellectual curiosity, and exceeding client expectations.

• Claude Certified Developer or Architect certification.
