Presales Consultant (HPE Network)

Location: Remote/Teleworker, primarily working from home; must be based in British Columbia, Canada, to support accounts in the province.

Annual salary: CAD 185,000–343,000, consisting of base salary and target-level sales compensation at a 75%/25% mix.

What you will do

• Manage account and partner responsibilities for selected accounts in the assigned territory.
• Design combinations of hardware, software, and services to address complex customer needs.
• Support bids, proposals, presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, and customer discussions.
• Provide technical and sales support, create product and implementation specifications, and develop proof of concepts where required.
• Build customer and partner relationships, maintain sales pipelines and forecasts, and identify additional opportunities.
• Represent HPE as a technical expert, support solution validation, and mentor junior Systems Engineers.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 7 years with a Master’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Infrastructure engineering experience and experience with successful presales support.
• Technical and solutions experience across multiple verticals.
• Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, presentation, prioritization, and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused approach and the ability to design and manage solutions to complex technical issues.
• Ability to interface with senior levels of internal and external organizations.
• Ability to mentor more junior Systems Engineers in the assigned territory.

Nice to have

• Juniper and Aruba experience and certifications such as JNCIA or JNCIP.
• ACMP certification.
• CCNA or equivalent certification.
