Product Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote from the EU or UK, with residence in European time zones and overlap for most of the working day

Base compensation: €110K–€160K annually

What you will do

• Own user-facing features and the systems behind them end to end, from UI and API development through data and deployment.
• Translate customer problems into scoped MVPs, define meaningful metrics, and ship production features quickly.
• Build AI-assisted workflows and LLM products, including agent response parsing, approval flows, confidence signals, and other human-in-the-loop experiences.
• Design and operate distributed systems with strong security, reliability, and production performance.
• Work directly with enterprise customers and collaborate with product, design, and other functions.
• Use AI coding tools and maintain quality across AI-written code, tests, and reviews.

Requirements

• Experience taking ambiguous requirements through complete feature delivery across UI, API, data, and deployment.
• Strong product judgment, including MVP scoping, prioritization, customer-impact measurement, and tradeoff analysis.
• Experience designing and running scalable distributed systems with attention to security and reliability.
• Experience building LLM features or AI agents in production, including evaluation design, prompt engineering, safety controls, or cost optimization.
• Ability to design interfaces for AI-assisted workflows and take ownership of full feature paths rather than frontend-only work.
• Must be based in Europe and able to work in European time zones.

Nice to have

• Experience with retail or consumer packaged goods.
• Familiarity with TypeScript, Next.js, React, Tailwind, Fastify, Kysely, PostgreSQL, Zod, GCP, Datadog, or Anthropic AI primitives.
