Operations Advisor - Trade Settlement (Fintech)

Location: Philadelphia, PA or Cleveland, OH, United States; remote work may be available in select geographic locations with approval, and occasional in-office participation may be required.

Base salary: $52,500–$96,250 per year; incentive eligible.

What you will do

• Act as the liaison between traders, brokers, and custodians to support trade settlement.
• Support critical operational services, processes, capabilities, and initiatives while ensuring performance and risk indicators are met.
• Establish and monitor process performance measurements, business impact, statistics, and reports for internal stakeholders and senior management.
• Monitor production workflows, resolve exceptions independently, and handle escalated process issues.
• Drive process efficiency, operational improvements, compliance issue resolution, and risk mitigation.
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Experience and understanding of the investment flow process.
• 2+ years of relevant professional experience and a university or college degree, typically a bachelor's degree. A comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Strong attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Ability to demonstrate accuracy, critical thinking, decision-making, problem solving, process management, operational functions, and management of multiple priorities.
• Ability to support customer-focused solutions, ensure compliance, manage risk, and follow standard operating procedures.
• No required certifications or licenses.

Nice to have

• Experience with Charles River, CTM, Advent Portfolio Exchange (APX), and DTCC.
