Trade Correction Expert (Financial Services)

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States

Base salary: $54,400–$81,600 per year, with potential variable pay depending on the role.

What you will do

• Research, analyze, and correct trading activity across equities, mutual funds, options, fixed income, cash transactions, and managed accounts.
• Resolve complex and escalated trade correction cases, disputes, discrepancies, and market corrections within service-level agreements.
• Partner with Compliance, Legal, advisors, clients, brokerage representatives, and other internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor inventory accounts, reports, daily work bins, and case queues while prioritizing high-volume workflows.
• Provide subject matter expertise, guidance, and trade correction resolutions to team members and business partners.
• Identify error trends and root causes, recommend process improvements, and contribute to standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent four-year education, or a combination of relevant education and experience.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in operations, processing, customer service, or financial services.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and knowledge of the Phase 3 and Online Brokerage platforms.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
• Professional communication skills and the ability to research and resolve issues efficiently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems quickly; experience with Thomson, BETA, COLA, APL, NICE, ACCESS, DocX, and SSD.

Nice to have

• Experience with trading activity, options, and operational processes.
• Related bachelor’s degree.
• SIE and Series 7 licenses.
