Undergrad Co-op – Finance/Accounting

Location: United States — Remote; the student must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship.

Salary: $28.87 per hour base pay.

hirify.global is a biotechnology company developing and delivering medicines for serious illnesses across oncology, inflammation, general medicine, and rare disease.

What you will do

• Work 20 hours per week with an accounting or finance team from May through November 2027.
• Complete multiple meaningful projects connected to strategic and tactical business goals.
• Build technical and financial skills, understand how the assigned team contributes to hirify.global’s success, and learn finance systems and technology tools.
• Collaborate with managers, fellow interns, and colleagues across the company.
• Participate in a multidisciplinary case study competition, including operations, sales and marketing, and forecasting; 40 hours per week are required during the specific week in July.
• Attend weekly summer lunches with executives, network across the company, and participate in Employee Resource Groups.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s Degree program at an accredited college or university with a minimum 3.0 GPA or equivalent.
• Must have completed one year of study before the internship begins and remain enrolled at an accredited college or university after the program.
• Must be available for a part-time schedule and be located in the United States throughout the internship.
• Must be available to accept and commit to future full-time employment by July 2028 if offered.
• Preferred fields of concentration include Economics, Business Administration, Biotechnology Management, Accounting, or Finance.
• Preferred qualifications include understanding of basic financial analytical principles, effective communication and organizational skills, strong analytical skills with attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, plus the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues on complex assignments, is preferred.
