TL;DR

Credit Intern (Finance/Credit Analysis): Supporting credit portfolio management in Mexico City through customer communication, financial statement analysis, documentation review, collateral evaluation, and reporting with an accent on credit assessment and account maintenance. Focus on analyzing financial statements and tax returns, evaluating collateral, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and contributing to process improvement projects.

Location: Hybrid in Punto Polanco, Polanco, Mexico City, Mexico

What you will do

Contact internal teams and external customers by email and telephone to keep credit accounts up to date.
Collect, transcribe, and maintain personal and financial information and credit documentation.
Analyze financial statements and tax returns using the internal credit model.
Review documentation and evaluate collateral for accuracy and completeness.
Prepare reports, participate in credit-related meetings, and support special process improvement projects.
Attend training sessions and workshops to develop credit analysis skills.

Requirements

Current university student in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or International Business.
Advanced written and spoken English required for communication with customers in Canada and the United States.
Customer satisfaction-oriented approach.
