Supervisor, Operations (Manufacturing)

Location: Flowery Branch, Georgia, United States of America; onsite manufacturing role. Hours: Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM.

Salary: $76,640–$114,960 annual, plus an opportunity to earn a performance-based annual cash incentive targeted at 10% of base pay.

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day manufacturing execution and oversee up to 35 employees and/or contract workers.
• Assign daily work, monitor progress, and resolve obstacles to meet GMP, ISO 9001, safety, quality, productivity, and KPI requirements.
• Hire, onboard, train, coach, evaluate, and engage staff; conduct performance appraisals and determine pay increases for direct reports.
• Compile and analyze operational data and prepare leadership reports with proposals to address performance gaps.
• Collaborate with peers across shifts and functions to optimize site and business performance.
• Partner with Human Resources on promotions, transfers, discharges, discipline, and other personnel actions; participate in or lead assigned projects.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent supervisory experience in a related manufacturing industry.
• 6+ years of work experience, including at least 1 year as a team lead or supervisor.
• Ability to use required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, steel-toed boots, and gloves.

Nice to have

• Effective written and verbal communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
• Intermediate skills in MS Office and Microsoft systems.
• Working knowledge of GMP and ISO standards and guidelines.
• Knowledge of quality and statistical analysis tools and methodologies.
