Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Jackson, Georgia, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

Salary: $80,200–$94,400 per year, plus eligibility for corporate bonus programs.

What you will do

• Supervise 20–30 hourly full-time associates and up to 30 seasonal or temporary associates in a multishift plant operation.
• Coordinate production, equipment and facilities maintenance, warehouse, distribution, and field operations.
• Assign work, monitor performance, train associates, establish schedules, and support hiring and employee relations.
• Maintain quality, quantity, material availability, productivity, and cost-efficiency standards.
• Implement safety programs, enforce plant policies, maintain operational records, and support budgeting and purchasing.
• Work directly with the production workforce and assist the Plant Manager with plant goals and special projects.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of overall manufacturing experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, raw-material purchasing, inventory planning and controls, sales, or customer service.
• Supervisory or lead experience, particularly in associate development and safety, is highly desired.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, operations management, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred; equivalent supervisory or operations experience will be considered.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement, team building, safety, associate relations, quality, and customer service.
• Ability to be bilingual in Spanish and English, with strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, computer, multitasking, problem-solving, and training skills.
