Sr. Operations Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Huntsville, Alabama, United States

Salary: $145,350–$228,450 per year, plus performance bonus or variable incentive compensation

What you will do

• Plan and direct manufacturing operations at the Huntsville plant, including production results, labor availability, staffing, and schedule adherence.
• Lead safety programs, regulatory compliance, associate training, and continuous improvement of the plant safety record.
• Ensure products meet quality standards, participate in finished-unit audits, and respond to field quality issues.
• Drive plant efficiency through the hirify.global Operating System, Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, standardized work, and improved use of labor and materials.
• Partner with engineering and R&D on manufacturing-process enhancements and improvement trials.
• Manage budgets, manufacturing staff development, labor relations, contract interpretation, and Step II grievances.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• At least 20 years of manufacturing management experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Strong technical knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing tools.
• Proven leadership experience delivering goals through subordinate teams and peers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
