Software Developer (Java)

What you will do

• Update existing software and develop new software solutions for specific business needs and problems.
• Contribute to software development activities using repeatable, systematic, quantifiable methodologies.
• Develop commercial applications from detailed requirements and system specifications.
• Work with senior developers to align code with design patterns and frameworks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and five years of experience as a Developer or related occupation; or a Master’s degree in one of these fields and three years of experience.
• Three years of experience designing and developing highly available, distributed, and scalable transaction enterprise systems.
• Three years of experience with UI, Java EE, RESTful Web Services, JAX-RS, HTML, JavaScript, React or Angular, CSS, Spring Boot or Spring MVC, PowerShell, and Azure.
• Three years of experience with SQL/PLSQL coding and query performance and efficiency tuning.
• Three years of experience developing web applications with client-side frameworks and libraries, including AngularJS.
• Three years of experience with Java test frameworks, including JUnit.
• Three years of experience with software development lifecycle tools and methodologies, including waterfall, Scrum, and Agile.
• Three years of experience with source control software such as ADO, Git, or SVN.
• Three years of experience designing and implementing continuous integration, build, and delivery frameworks and technologies.
• Three years of experience with network and client-server communication, including REST, WebSockets, and server-sent events.
