Staff Integration Test Engineer

Location: Hybrid in Cambridge, United Kingdom. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the UK at the time of hire; visa sponsorship is not offered.

What you will do

• Design, develop, maintain, execute, and report on test cases for software and hardware product releases.
• Perform black-box testing, assess audio quality and data integrity, and manage defects throughout iterative release lifecycles using TargetProcess.
• Investigate customer-reported issues, reproduce defects, and maintain expertise in at least two Clear-Com or Trilogy products.
• Prepare customer-facing acceptance and regression test reports and documentation for new opportunities or contracts.
• Identify technical risks, lead risk-mitigation strategies, recommend process improvements, and provide testing estimates and schedule input.
• Support the development of team members and may lead a small team.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in a related field and proven experience as a Test Engineer or Software Engineer.
• Experience with system testing, IP, networking, and SIP.
• Ability to create, organize, execute, and verify complex test cases based on design specifications.
• Thorough knowledge of testing methodologies and troubleshooting techniques for software and hardware issues.
• Thorough understanding of product lifecycles, including Agile, waterfall, and V-model approaches.
• Understanding of automated testing and ability to create test scripts and test harnesses.
• Good understanding of standard programming languages, including Python and C#/.NET.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work with engineering, management, customers, manufacturing, and other stakeholders.
• Quality-conscious approach with a continuous focus on improvements.

• Experience working in an Agile team.
• Experience writing programs in Python.
• Knowledge of Linux operating system internals.
• BA or BS degree in a related field.
