Contracts Specialist (Construction Technology)

What you will do

• Review client, partner, vendor, IT, and RFP-related contracts and amendments as a first-line reviewer.
• Identify contractual risks, estimate their potential impact, recommend responses, prepare redlines, and coordinate approvals and escalations.
• Support questions about software and IT agreements, client security questionnaires, insurance requirements, annual renewals, and certificates of insurance.
• Build and maintain the central Contracts Database with key dates, terms, obligations, renewal, notice, and termination information.
• Own contract termination workflows and hold stakeholders accountable for required steps.
• Own contract templates, manage template change requests, maintain current versions, and support adoption across teams.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience reviewing professional services agreements such as MSAs, SOWs, and change orders, ideally in a consulting or implementation environment.
• Working knowledge of indemnification, limitation of liability, SLAs, data and privacy, and insurance requirements.
• Experience building or maintaining a contract repository or tracker and keeping it accurate over time.
• Experience taking a template or process change through adoption across teams that do not report to you.
• Ability to assess and size risk, recommend a response, and balance risk against deal value.
• Experience working with an outside law firm or in-house counsel.
• Comfort working with SharePoint, spreadsheets, and Salesforce, rather than only e-signature platforms, and willingness to adopt new tools such as AI.

Nice to have

• Experience with public sector contracts and RFPs.
• Experience with prime agreements and flow-down terms, including procurement codes and subcontracting commitments; construction experience is a plus.
• Experience with client security questionnaires.
• Experience reviewing software, IT, and vendor agreements.
• Experience with international contracts.
