Senior Principal Architect, Distributed Technology

Location: Atlanta, Georgia; hybrid schedule with at least four full days each week working in an hirify.global office

What you will do

• Define and maintain technology roadmaps, reference architectures, and target-state capabilities across CRM, marketing automation, and client engagement platforms.
• Set the strategic direction for customer engagement technologies and align platform evolution with business goals and long-term technology strategy.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, AI capabilities, and industry trends to guide platform evolution and investment decisions.
• Partner with senior business, product, and technology leaders to translate business strategy into scalable technology solutions.
• Lead architecture and design for major transformation initiatives, ensuring secure, resilient, scalable solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
• Establish governance frameworks, architecture standards, and best practices while influencing vendor strategy and future-state platform direction.

Requirements

• Significant experience in enterprise, solution, or platform architecture roles within large, complex organizations.
• Deep expertise in CRM, marketing automation, customer engagement, and digital experience platforms.
• Proven experience defining technology strategy, architecture roadmaps, and target-state capabilities supporting large-scale business transformation.
• Strong understanding of composable architectures, API-led integration, cloud-native platforms, event-driven architectures, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Experience leading complex technology programmes and influencing strategic decisions across business and technology leadership teams.
• Ability to communicate complex architectural concepts clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of data, analytics, and AI technologies and their application within customer engagement and marketing ecosystems.
• Experience working with strategic technology vendors and managing platform selection, architecture governance, and technology investment decisions.
