Middle AI Platform Engineer (Python, Go, Cloud)

Location: Remote; candidates must be based in São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code across private networking, containers, edge and CDN services, managed storage, IAM, and security boundaries.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with federated identity, access controls, and separation between read and write operations.
• Implement observability, monitoring, alerting, operational dashboards, secrets management, and rotation processes.
• Build disaster-recovery, resilience, business-continuity, serverless, and infrastructure-automation capabilities using Python.
• Establish security guardrails and operational standards for a multi-tenant development platform, including ephemeral cloud environments for AI-powered application development.
• Collaborate with AI engineering teams, troubleshoot complex platform issues, conduct root-cause analysis, improve developer experience, and take ownership of platform stability, reliability, and operational performance.

Requirements

• Experience designing, implementing, and operating cloud-native infrastructure in a public cloud environment.
• Hands-on production experience with Infrastructure as Code and experience with Go or Go-based infrastructure tooling.
• Understanding of cloud networking, private networks, firewalls, containers, edge and CDN services, managed storage, and IAM.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of federated identity, authorization policies, least-privilege access, and secrets management.
• Experience implementing observability, monitoring, alerting, and disaster-recovery strategies, as well as supporting multi-environment architectures and production-grade platforms.
• Proficiency in Python for infrastructure automation, serverless functions, or supporting services.
• Understanding of platform security, resilience, scalability, and operational reliability; strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Strong written communication and technical documentation skills, professional English proficiency, and the ability to make sound technical decisions and take ownership in ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

• Experience operating multi-tenant platforms for internal enterprise users or supporting developer platforms and internal platform-engineering products.
• Knowledge of cloud-security guardrails and software supply-chain security.
• Experience with on-call operations, incident management, production reliability, controlled deployment, rollback, and change-management practices.
• Familiarity with AI-powered development platforms and exposure to agent-based engineering and deployment workflows.
• Experience designing infrastructure to reduce blast radius and isolate failures.
