Data Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Paris, France

Salary: €65,000–€72,000/year

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain business marts for payments, onboarding, and other core product domains.
• Work closely with product, technology, data, compliance, and business stakeholders.
• Run regulatory reporting models, monitor data runs, fix failures, and ensure accurate, timely reporting.
• Evolve regulatory models as requirements change while preserving existing reporting correctness.
• Ensure figures reconcile across regulatory reports, business marts, and source systems.
• Maintain model documentation and complete a structured handover from the outgoing Analytics Engineer to the successor.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering or data engineering, including end-to-end ownership of production models in build-and-run environments.
• Expert SQL and hands-on Snowflake experience.
• Strong production experience with dbt, including macros, tests, incremental models, and packages.
• Experience with Git workflows, code review, and CI for data projects.
• Clear communication with non-technical stakeholders in English.
• Hands-on daily experience developing with AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot, with the ability to review and test generated output rigorously.

Nice to have

• Experience with regulatory reporting, fintech, or banking.
• Previous freelance missions involving taking over or handing over a scope.
