OCI Solutions Architect

Location: 100% remote within the Continental United States.

Salary: $100K–$150K per year.

What you will do

• Architect, deploy, and operate enterprise OCI landing zones, compartments, tenancy structures, networking topologies, compute, storage, and database environments.
• Build and maintain OCI infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and OCI Resource Manager, including version control, peer review, and automated validation.
• Implement IAM, identity federation, RBAC, security controls, observability, incident response, and compliance remediation.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and applications using OCI DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Design disaster recovery, business continuity, cost optimization, and OCI-native architecture solutions across regions and availability domains.
• Develop automation with Python, Bash, and Terraform, advise application teams, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Five or more years of cloud engineering experience with strong hands-on OCI experience.
• Production-level infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with OCI compute, networking, storage, identity, and database services, including Oracle Container Engine for Kubernetes (OKE).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for cloud workloads and observability tooling with incident response.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash.
• Deep understanding of cloud security, IAM, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Nice to have

• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional certification.
• Experience operating Oracle Exadata Cloud or Autonomous Database at scale.
• Exposure to multi-cloud architectures spanning OCI and AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with FinOps practices on OCI.
• Experience operating regulated OCI workloads.
