PeopleSoft Technical Lead & OCI Cloud Architect

Location: Remote for candidates based in the United States or Canada

Salary: $135,000+ annually, commensurate with experience, plus a performance-based bonus

What you will do

• Architect, install, configure, administer, and support PeopleSoft 9.2 and PeopleTools environments.
• Design and implement secure, scalable, highly available OCI architectures for PeopleSoft and enterprise workloads.
• Lead PeopleSoft lift-and-shift migrations, upgrades, PUM updates, patching, cutovers, and post-migration support.
• Administer Oracle databases and implement backup, recovery, performance tuning, RAC, Data Guard, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Automate administration and infrastructure operations with UNIX/Linux shell scripting, Terraform, and PeopleSoft Cloud Manager.
• Lead technical workshops, architecture reviews, troubleshooting sessions, customer engagements, and delivery activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience administering enterprise PeopleSoft environments, including PeopleSoft 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.58 or later.
• Strong experience with PeopleSoft installation, upgrades, PUM updates, patching, cloning, troubleshooting, PIA, Process Scheduler, Integration Broker, WebLogic, and Tuxedo.
• Strong Oracle Database administration, Linux/UNIX administration, shell scripting, networking, security, load balancing, high availability, backup, and disaster recovery experience.
• Experience designing, implementing, or supporting OCI environments and working with complex enterprise customers.
• Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• OCI Architect Associate or Professional certification.
• Multiple PeopleSoft-to-OCI migrations, Terraform, PeopleSoft Cloud Manager, Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and OCI networking or security architecture experience.
• Experience with Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, Kibana, PeopleSoft performance tuning, managed services, or high availability and disaster recovery architecture.
• Experience with PeopleSoft FSCM, HCM, Campus Solutions, or Interaction Hub.
